A 40th ANNIVERSARY PICTORIAL

Here we are on January 12, 1985, celebrating our wedding at
NYC’s Carlyle Hotel.

Forty years may have gone by since then, but I’m still married to one
fine-looking gal.

She’s resplendent when she dresses up . . . .

. . . and equally at home whatever the scene may be.

Here’s Barbara with some treats from her vegetable garden at our
Easton, CT weekend home; in the kitchen up there, where she’s
developed into a talented cook; and brandishing one of her
delicious Thanksgiving turkeys in NYC.

That’s my wife standing in our NYC den and aloft in her office.

Barbara has emerged as an excellent public speaker, particularly at the annual huge REBNY gala that she’s been chairing for a decade.

She also gives a worthy annual wrap-up talk to the brokers of her firm.

But let’s face it, the real loves in Barbara’s life are her multiple canines – whether on city streets or rambling along quiet CT roads.
And here’s a typical scene at night . . . What corner of this king-size bed do you think I can fit into?

For a number of years, a golden retriever ruled the roost . . . .

. . . but at present, it’s the smaller breeds that capture her attention.

And just to show Barbara’s versatility, that’s a cat she’s fondling in the second and third photos.

Well, notwithstanding the animals, it takes two adults to celebrate a
40-year marriage. Here’s the way we looked back at the beginning of
our days together . . . what memories . . . .

But even today we’re still a hell of a couple . . . .

. . . even when we dress up a little.

We’re good at birthdays and special occasions (here, a book party to celebrate my novel).
This is our most ambitious joint photo – just don’t wake up the cheetah . . . .

I’ll close with this photo of me squeezing the love of my life.
